1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating a FixItZed account or using our mobile and web products, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and any additional guidelines we publish. If you disagree with any part, please discontinue using our services.
2. The FixItZed Platform
FixItZed connects customers with third-party service providers (“fixers”). We facilitate discovery, scheduling, communication, and payments but do not directly provide the services listed by fixers.
- Customers are responsible for vetting fixers and reviewing ratings.
- Fixers are independent contractors who must comply with all applicable laws, licensing, and insurance requirements.
3. User Responsibilities
Customers
- Provide accurate contact, address, and payment information.
- Treat fixers respectfully and communicate schedule changes promptly.
- Pay for completed services through the in-app payment flow.
Fixers
- Maintain truthful profiles, service descriptions, and pricing.
- Deliver services safely, professionally, and within agreed timelines.
- Keep client information confidential except where disclosure is required by law.
4. Booking, Payments, and Cancellations
Bookings are confirmed when a fixer accepts a request. Charges are processed securely through the app. Cancellation, refund, or dispute processes are described in the Booking FAQ and may vary based on the service type.
5. Ratings & Reviews
You may leave honest reviews about your experience. FixItZed may remove content that is abusive, fraudulent, or violates platform guidelines.
6. Intellectual Property
All platform branding, logos, and original content remain the property of FixItZed. You may not copy or exploit these materials without written consent.
7. Limitation of Liability
FixItZed is not liable for damages arising from services delivered by fixers. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount paid to us for the transaction giving rise to the claim.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the platform, or engage in fraudulent or unsafe behaviour. Users can close their accounts at any time via Support.
9. Changes to These Terms
FixItZed may update these Terms to reflect new features or legal requirements. We will notify you of material changes within the app or via email. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance.
